A computer in a household has become a need than as a luxury item. It has

Despite their satisfaction, a home must be well suited for the old age.
Installation of grab bars on the stairs, handrails are really useful to
the aging house owner. As the old age approaches, the hearing, vision, stamina
and ability to lift and reach, dexterity(ability to open doors, turn knobs),
sense of smell, Alzheimer’s, reduction in cognition level makes the old
age obvious to them. making changes in lighting(bright), flooring(matt finish),
replacing door knobs can be of much use to be independent, privacy, time
saving, much convenience and general safety at home.
The following changes at home must be considered:
Easy mobility inside and throughout the home
Grab bars, handholds, railings are must
Easy usage of handles and controls’
Even if we are not wheel chair ridden, we prefer to use carts, strollers,
wheeled trashcans, wheeled luggage and other wheeled items. One of the easiest
way to make the home to live comfortably is making access without some steps
involved. You have to reroute and regrade the front porch, with little expense.
But you surely will have easy access of mobility.
And inside the home, prefer to have single level home, with kitchen, bedrooms,
laundry facilities, full bath at the same level. Avoid slippery floors.
Redesign doorways with 36 inches wide. Remove bumps on the floor.
Falls is the serious and usual accidents that happen to the seniors. Installation
of adequate railings and grips help to prevent these accidents. See to that
especially in bathrooms and toilets.
Make the lights brighter so that you can have easy access to reading. Well-lit
stairs are all the more crucial. Have intercom facilities to easy communication.
Peephole in the front door can be much useful. Use hot water dispensers
even for your sink.
